Wine appeared in southern France between 1000 and 500 BC and began to spread throughout much of the Mediterranean basin.

In its early days, it was considered a noble drink reserved for the aristocracy, and a sacrificial vessel used in the worship of Bacchus.

In the hearts of Christians all over the world, red wine also represents the blood of Jesus Christ, which promotes the popularization of red wine, so that ordinary people have the right to drink sweet red wine. (See Holy Communion)
